CPAR Physician Advisory Committee
Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR) is forming a country wide Physician Advisory Committee of 6-8 members and is seeking a representative on the committee from the SOGC membership.
The role of this volunteer committee will be to assist CPAR in building a more robust base of members and supporters in the medical community; advise CPAR with respect to its fundraising efforts, particularly in the medical community; offer a physician perspective on the development activities of the organisation; offer insights with respect to potential program expansion and assist with networking with potential partners .
This will be an interesting and dynamic group with plenty of opportunity for good discussions of ideas relating to international development and the role of the physician.
Anyone interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity please contact Dr. Steve Ferracuti at ferracuti1@sympatico.ca
